Work Related Accomplishments: I was the first female Project Manager hired by Orange County for their Capital Projects Division. At that time (1994) it was considered a “break through” in their commercial construction division and I was honored that they felt I had and knowledge and people skills needed to make this work.

About: I’ve worked on several large, interesting projects but the best (by far) was the Booking and Release Center and the Female Detention Center both located at Orange County Corrections Compound. In addition to the complex construction required by any high security facility these were designed as state-of- the-art facilities where we incorporated items not yet used in any facility in the US. It was a terrific accomplishment and I was proud to give tours to groups from all over the US and as far away as Spain, South Africa, England, Brazil and Puerto Rico.

I love to travel; whether it’s finding new little towns around Florida or going to place on the other side of the world….I love to explore new places! I also love games! Lawn games, card games, board games. Any type of game with a challenge and I’m playing!!
