City of Naples – Wastewater Switchgear & MCC Replacement

Project Overview: Eau Gallie Electric replaced the majority of the 480V 3-phase electrical distribution equipment, including a 3200A rated switchgear. All 7 WWTP MCC’s were replaced, and the existing generator room underwent extensive renovations. Project Cost: $2,742,710.

City of Pembroke Pines – City Hall Generator Replacement

Project Overview: Eau Gallie Electric installed three Generac 500kw industrial bi-fuel generators at the City Hall Building to ensure it could function as an Emergency Operations Center (EOC) when required. The project involved significant trenching and slab modifications, all while the facility remained fully operational. Project Cost: $1,163,007.

Tampa Bay Water – South Hillsboro, Wellfields Generator and Motor Replacements

Project Overview: Eau Gallie Electric replaced 150 hp pump motors at 17 Wellfield Sites. At six of these sites, we also installed 200kw diesel generators with Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) and sound-reducing enclosures. Project Cost: $2,306,855.

NOAA/AOML Miami – Emergency Generator Project

Project Overview: Our team executed the installation of a 750kw generator provided by the owner, along with an 800A automatic transfer switch and a 10,000-gallon fuel tank. Additional components included a new panel, transformer, and circuit breakers. Project Cost: $886,365.

CRU Campus Crusade & FGC – Three (3) – 500kw Generator Replacements – LABOR ONLY

Project Overview: Eau Gallie Electric took on the challenge of replacing 3 Volvo 500kw diesel generators, ensuring Tier 4 Final Certification. This project included custom 2500A paralleling switchgear, 2500A main bus, 800A circuit breakers, modifications to the existing building’s intake and exhaust louvers, and the implementation of SCADA controls. PROJECT COST: $390,684.

Orange County Board of County Commissioners Project Management and Facilities Office – Orange County Jail Complex Emergency Power Upgrades

Project Overview: Eau Gallie Electric completed a comprehensive rewire and replacement of all generators, transfer switches, and associated circuits within the 192,000 square ft Orange County Jail Complex. The project included rigorous testing of all emergency lighting and UPS systems inside the jail. PROJECT COST: $1,112,125.

Lakemont VA Data Center – Generator Replacement

Project Overview: Eau Gallie Electric successfully executed an emergency power system replacement in a 337,700 square ft active facility. The project involved providing and installing a new 277/480V, 2000A switchgear lineup with 3 bypass isolation ASCO transfer switches. Additionally, the team installed a new 600kw Caterpillar generator with a diesel fuel tank. This critical backup power system was installed while the data center, serving all VA pharmacies on the East Coast, remained live and operational. The project required close coordination with IT and facilities personnel and extensive safety measures for working with live panels. PROJECT COST: $750,000.

Tampa Bay Water – Tampa Bypass Canal – MLK Pump Station Starter Replacement

Project Overview: Eau Gallie Electric undertook the replacement of 4 medium voltage 800hp RVAT motor starters, including all power, controls, and instrument wiring for each device. The project also involved upgrading the MCC system for RVATs. PROJECT COST: $945,800.
