More Than an Electrical Contractor

At Eau Gallie Electric, we are a team united by a shared vision of excellence and growth.

Our company is owned and led by Chris Hughes, a West Point graduate, Mechanical Engineer, and service-disabled veteran. Since taking ownership in 2005, Chris has grown EGE from a small Melbourne operation into one of Florida's most recognized electrical firms, with a mission rooted in integrity, innovation, and faith.

We do work that matters: commercial, industrial, airfield systems, residential, solar, and generator services across Central Florida and beyond. And we do it as a team that genuinely invests in each other.

"At Eau Gallie Electric, our people are not just employees. They are owners, partners, and key players in our future. Our goal is to create an environment where you can thrive, contribute, and be recognized for your achievements. Join us, and be a part of a company that is as invested in your growth as you are in ours."

Chris Hughes, President

At EGE, You Own a Piece of What You Build

ESOP stands for Employee Stock Ownership Plan.

It means that as an Eau Gallie Electric employee, you earn a real ownership stake in the company, at no cost to you.

Here's how it works: Eau Gallie Electric contributes shares of the company into a retirement account in your name. The longer you stay, the more your stake grows. When the company grows, your account grows. You are not just earning a paycheck. You are building equity in the business you help run every day.

ESOP is rare in the electrical trades. Most companies don't offer it. We do, because we believe the people doing the work should share in the success of it.

This is in addition to your company-funded pension, your 401(k) with company match, and full benefits package, not a replacement for any of them.

1
You Start Working

EGE begins contributing company shares to an account in your name.

2
Your Stake Grows

The longer you stay, the larger your ownership share becomes.

3
The Company Grows

As EGE's value increases, so does your account. Your success and the company's are one and the same.

"At Eau Gallie Electric, you're not just an employee. You're an owner, a partner, and a key part of our future."
Chris Hughes, President

This company's culture truly stands out—leadership genuinely cares about you as a person, not just as part of the workforce. I've never worked for a more giving company. Chris and Keturah's heart is evident in everything we do, and the benefits here are truly unmatched.

From the moment I joined, I noticed how Eau Gallie genuinely supports its employees, both on and off the job. The benefits are great, and it's clear that the leadership truly cares about our well-being. Employees care for the company and the company cares for its employees.
