Job Description
We are hiring for a superintendent in our airfield Navigation Aids department. The applicant must have extensive experience in underground electrical installations, duct banks, man holes, steel structures, and also possess a working knowledge of surveying, placing concrete, site excavations, paving, and airfield lighting.
100% travel is required within the United States, which is company paid. The typical job duration is 2-8 months. We typically work two weeks straight (Sunday’s off) with a 4 day break every two weeks with travel provided home.
The superintendent must be able to attend meetings with the government, interact with the engineer of record, provide a 2 week look ahead schedule, conduct daily safety briefings, record and report worker hours, order and manage material, organize manpower and job schedule, type reports and use a laptop computer or tablet.
