Eau Gallie Electric Welcomes Jonathan Matulevich as VP of Operations

Melbourne, FL – Eau Gallie Electric is excited to announce the appointment of Jonathan Matulevich as the new Vice President of Operations. With over 25 years of industry experience and a proven track record of leadership, Jonathan brings unparalleled expertise to our team.

Jonathan’s career highlights include more than 20 years with Johnson Controls/York, four years with Miller Electric, and numerous consulting roles. Most recently, as Vice President of Operations at Louis Berger Versar, he directed roadway asset maintenance for 10 FDOT contracts across Florida, managing over 4,000 miles of roadway and 100 Turnpike facilities.

In addition to his operational achievements, Jonathan is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt with a strong engineering background. He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University. His combination of technical and leadership skills allows him to streamline operations by addressing inefficiencies, identifying root causes, and implementing continuous improvements.

At the core of his leadership philosophy is servant leadership, aligning teams by connecting their “hearts and minds” to shared goals. Jonathan’s focus on collaboration, operational excellence, and long-term strategic growth makes him an invaluable addition to Eau Gallie Electric.

In his new role, Jonathan will oversee overall business operations, strategic initiatives, and day-to-day management. His primary office will be at Eau Gallie Electric’s West Melbourne complex, but he will frequently visit all offices to meet with team members and foster a strong, collaborative culture.

Originally from a small coal mining town in Northeast Pennsylvania, Jonathan now resides in Jacksonville, Florida, with his wife of 29 years, Lori. They have three children: Tyler, Hannah, and Ella. Over the years, his career has taken him to York, PA; Houston, TX; Baltimore, MD; and Milwaukee, WI, giving him a broad perspective and diverse experience.
