City of Ocoee Water Treatment Plant

Provided comprehensive engineering services for this project that included FDEP inspections regarding the disposal of the existing fuel tank and the registration and regulations for use of the new tank. This project was required to a replace old equipment with a new 1-megawatt generator and 2000 amp ATS, with a 25’ x 13’ enclosure and a 10,000 gallon fuel tank.
The existing fuel tank was removed, flushed and disposed of according to FDEP regulations.

A 2-megawatt temporary generator was brought in to power the facility during the ongoing project. The existing generator was removed from the site and new cabling was installed to support the new system. A lengthy shut-down was coordinated to make the permanent switch to the new equipment. Eau Gallie Electric successfully executed these tasks to enhance the infrastructure of the Ocoee Water Treatment Plant, ensuring it’s operational dependability.
