Electrical Infrastructure Installation
The Hurlburt Field project focuses on installing essential electrical infrastructure to support apron operations, including lighting, aircraft support, and telecommunications. This involved meticulous underground cable laying, transformer deployment, and distribution panel installation, alongside the erection of high-mast lighting systems for improved visibility during low-light conditions.
Additionally, telecommunications infrastructure, including fiber optic cables and conduits, was established to facilitate effective communication within the apron area. Demolition of existing taxiway edge lights made way for new apron connector taxi lanes, with detailed planning ensuring uninterrupted power supply to operational taxiways. Furthermore, the installation of precast handholes supports various electrical and communication needs, enhancing overall functionality.
