Is the 14kW the Right
Size for Your Home?
The 14kW is the right fit for most Florida homes between 1,500 and 2,500 square feet with a single HVAC system. It powers your essential circuits simultaneously: air conditioning, refrigerator, lights, outlets, garage door, and security system. Your household runs normally while the rest of the neighborhood is dark.
If your home has two HVAC units, a pool pump, or an EV charger running at the same time, the 18kW model may be a better fit. Not sure where you land? Our free site visit includes a load calculation that takes the guesswork out completely, no commitment required.
- Home 1,500 to 2,500 sq ft with a single HVAC system
- Air conditioning, refrigerator, lights, and outlets all running simultaneously
- Garage door, security system, and sump pump on the same load
- Single-zone home where whole-home coverage doesn't require circuit tradeoffs
- First standby generator with a clean, well-defined load profile

No surprises, no subcontractors, no box-store handoff. Our licensed electricians handle the complete installation from the first visit to the final inspection.
Built for Florida's
Hurricane Season
Brevard County sees more than its share of tropical weather. When a hurricane or strong storm moves through the Space Coast, power outages can stretch from a few hours to several days. The Generac 14kW activates automatically within seconds of an outage, no action required on your part.
No extension cords running through doorways. No trips outside in the dark. No manual startup sequence. Your air conditioning keeps running in the Florida heat, your refrigerator and freezer stay cold, your security system stays active, and your family stays comfortable, regardless of what's happening outside.
When power is restored, the generator steps back automatically and runs a self-test to confirm it's ready for the next event. For Brevard County homeowners, a standby generator isn't a luxury. It's infrastructure.

PowerPro Elite+ Dealer
Not every electrician who installs a Generac generator has earned the PowerPro Elite+ designation. The certification requires factory training, demonstrated installation volume, and ongoing performance standards. It's Generac's highest residential dealer tier.
Eau Gallie Electric has held that designation because we've earned it. Our technicians are trained directly by Generac on installation and service. Warranty support runs through us, not a third-party call center. And if your system ever needs service, you're calling the same company that installed it, a team that has been serving Brevard County since 1948 and is employee-owned.
When you're comparing installers, ask whether they're a PowerPro Elite+ Dealer. The answer matters.
The proof is in the record: over 5,000 completed generator installations across Florida, each one permitted, inspected, and activated by our certified team.
