Extensive PPE and Safety Controls for Working Live Electrical Panels
This was an emergency power system replacement in a 337,700 sf active facility. Provided and installed a new 277 /480V, 2000A switchgear lineup with 3 bypass isolation ASCO transfer switches. Provided and installed all new 600kw Caterpillar generator with diesel fuel tank. This new backup power system was installed while the data center (which serves all VA pharmacies on the East Coast) was live and operational. It required close coordination with IT and facilities personal as well as extensive PPE and safety controls for working live panels.
